Last Day at Quintana

Another quiet day here at Quintana Park.  We spent another morning doing our stuff.  I worked on a crocheting project while Duane did his computer thing.  Part of the reason we holed up was the chilly wind.  It really blew all day, and picked up in the evening so that our house shook.  After lunch the air warmed quite a bit so we took a walk down to the beach.  The beach is kept very clean.  There are very few visitors now that spring break is over.

This flock of brown pelicans flew in to visit.

Yes, it was cool enough for jeans and a jacket.

Very little debris left from the flooding, but there is a water quality warning for the water.

After work, Jesse brought Bella to visit.  They really liked our little house.  Jesse got the travel bug and was ready to take up the lifestyle.  I see a travel trailer in their future vacations.

Bella and Grandpa enjoying some quality time.

When Mommy got off work, she met us at the local Chili's for dinner.  We enjoyed a delicious dinner and some good conversation.  From the restaurant we went to Jesse & Katelyn's for a lively game of Mexican Train.  We let them whup us before we said good-by.

Beautiful sunset taken from their driveway.  This type of clouds came and went all evening allowing some great views of the full moon too.

Tomorrow is moving day.  We are only going about 150 miles so we will pack up in the morning.  Maybe I'll get some good travel pix.

See ya tamarra,

Louise and Duane

I love camping by the water. Everyday brings such beauty over the water.
