We never know what the weather will be like from hour to hour here in Klamath, CA. The fog and chilly breeze comes and goes, the sun peeps out then disappears several times a day.
With nothing better to do this afternoon we drove about 5-6 miles up the road to spend some time on the beautiful black sand beach and listen to the beautiful green Pacific Ocean roar.
Duane walked down the beach to get some pix of the rock and redwood formations there.
These two gulls were content to sit above the waves.
Brock and I weren't!
We had the same reaction when we waded the Athabascan River glacial meltwater in Alberta, Canada.
After a half hour or so we took one last look around and went home.
Wonder where we'll be wading next?
Louise and Duane
