When we were in Virginia City the other day we saw this classic Ford Fairlane.
While Duane and Brock gathered information in the Crystal Bar/Visitor's Center I took some shots of the interior
crystal chandelier hanging from a pressed tin ceiling
the back of the bar with the original mirror
a list of famous people who visited there.
While we were hiking the desert on our wild horse hunt we stepped off the trail at one point to explore some old mining equipment. We were unhappy to find that it was somebody's old living room furniture.
We saw only one other person yesterday, the horses, one magpie, and this lizard--no people or animals.
Tomorrow--back to Virginia City.
