Silver Tappers

Escapees clubs are known for their social activities.  Today quite a few residents and a few guests (including us with Duane in orange and Brock and Leola opposite him) at Pair A Dice coop park showed up for a lunch of homemade cheeseburger soup, hot bread and butter and dessert.

For our $5 we also were treated to a variety show featuring the Silver Tappers.  These ladies create their own costumes and routines.  Today we saw a can-can

a country western dance with elements of tap and line dancing,

and a French flair with Follies Bregierre

The very newest members performed a Santa song.

This lady was telling us that "What Lola Wants" Lola gets.

This newbie declared that "I'm A Good Girl Now".

These two singers had beautiful voices, tenor

and alto.  They each sang two songs.

The show ended with a tribute to the Armed Forces:
Army

Navy

Marines

and Air Force

The troupe lined up for bows.  In the middle are the two singers and to their left wearing a sash is Ms Senior Golden Years Queen 2021.  The ages of the group range between 67 and 97.  The 97 year old was the emcee.

Hurray for the old people!

Louise and Duane
