One of the things we wanted to do while we are in Pahrump was to reconnect with old friends Kirk and Nancy. We met them when we were all touring the east coast in 2015 and have kept in touch ever since.
We met for really good fish dinners at the local Moose, where we were joined by their friends Don and Janice.
We knew Kirk and Nancy were great fun but what we didn't know was they and their friends are also very talented.
After dinner we were treated to some very good voices (and some not good, but then, that's Karaoke for you).
Don nailed Roy Orbison's Running Scared--not an easy task.
Janice was a veteran performer in several shows in New York and has kept her voice.
Nancy was also very good as was
Kirk. Who knew?
They were all so good that we enjoyed Karaoke night for the first time.
Kirk and Nancy couldn't resist a whirl around the floor to top off the evening.
