Pair A Dice

Pair-A-Dice SKP Co-Op RV Park outside Pahrump, NV is our home for the next two weeks.  The park is situated in the Pahrump Valley with the Spring Mountains on one side and the Nopah Range on the other.  It sits just inside the Nevada/California border about 40 miles from the southern end of Death Valley National Park and roughly 50 miles west of Las Vegas. The park is large with 94 double-site lots along 12 streets.  We are roosting on site 50B while its lease holder is out of the park for a while.

There are 4 buildings in the park.  This is the office with showers and restrooms for boondockers across the street.

The largest building is the Clubhouse.  On the right end is the 6/6 laundry and outside closelines.

Entering the door on that end is a long hallway.  The laundry is on the left.  On the right are a couple of small meeting rooms.  The far right door leads into a large room with tv, lots of comfy chairs and couches, a couple of game tables, the library, the jigsaw puzzle tables and a couple of small desks.   Accessible from this room is the craft room and the dvd library and a couple more game tables.

At the end of this hall and accessible from several doors around the building is where parkwide activities are held.  On the left (at the end of the laundry) is the kitchen, on the right are a couple of pool tables.

At the far end of the park is a workshop with tools, saws, and vehicle maintenance supplies.

The fourth building is a restroom by a large picnic/barbeque pavilion and the horseshoe courts.

There are two large dog parks, one at each end of the park.

The sites are spacious, each with a shed, covered patio, and small gravel area and plenty of room to park vehicles.

The people we've met are very friendly, welcoming and informative.  We're going to enjoy our stay here.

Plan for tomorrow--ice cream social.
