Flying High

Eagle spread his wings and flew us 15 miles through Red Rock Canyon,

part of the Dixie National Forest,

and 15 miles through Bryce Canyon National Park

to its end 2300' up the mountain.

Here we met our latest friend, Steven, who is riding his Triumph motorcycle on a 3-month cross-country tour of discovery.

Steven and we hopscotched back down the road

stopping at various overlooks chatting while we viewed the different rock formations

each one had to offer until Steven said goodbye and rode off to see about a spot for the night in the  park campground.

Duane and I made our final stop--our very favorite in the whole park--Sunrise Point.
Duane loves this view because it inspired him to get his knees replaced

so that he could hike down into this area for a closer view.

It's my favorite because it is the most beautiful and because it inspired Duane to finally get his knees replaced!

Satisfied with his adventure, Eagle flew us home again and settled into his aerie for a night of rest.

Flying again tomorrow,

Louise and Duane
