Cruising With Eagle

Eagle had fun flying us 106 miles around the Sevier Plateau today.

Scenic Byway 12 took us east through Red Rock Canyon, past the mountains we hiked yesterday,

and through a corner of the Dixie National Forest.

CR 22 took us north along the plateau

twisted its way through Black Canyon

and along  several irrigated valleys.

Just past the town of Antimony, we passed Otter Creek Reservoir at the junction of CR 22 and CR62.

62 connected to

US89 where we picked up the Sevier River

and stopped for a rest at Butch Cassidy's house.

For the rest of the trip we flew along enjoying occasional glimpses of the Sevier River.

One day left here,

Louise and Duane
