Moving Day

Today we began our week-long visit with our son Duane Jr., daughter-in-law Brandey, and grandchildren Emma, Ava, Alyssa, and Coy.  They also live in the country, but in north Texas ranching country.

Excuse the mud.  They just had some water lines and electric wiring buried.

The girls are in a wedding tomorrow and had to practice.  Yes, the whole wedding is on horseback in a riding arena.  This is Texas, you know!

Jr will be officiating.

Alyssa loves to ride.

We hung around visiting with whomever was free at the moment.  After the rehearsal we ate fire grilled steaks, salad, baked potatoes, squash and some other dishes and dessert before heading back to their house.  We said goodnight and hopped the bike for the ride home.

I promise that these kids have parents.  I will get a good picture of them  tomorrow.

Boy are those kids growing up.

Be sure to post some of those wedding photos. I have never seen a wedding on horseback. Should be very interesting.
