Time Off

Uncooperative weather kept us close to home today.  I used the time to restart my latest project.

When I made t-shirt quilts, I used only a 15 inch square cut from the middle of the front and back of each t-shirt.  The necks and sleeves I tossed.  The bottom strips I collected and am now cutting them into 1/2 inch strips.

It doesn't take long using a matching gridded cutting board and ruler and a razor-sharp rotary cutter.  Just line it up and zip the cutter along the ruler.

When I get all of my scrap pieces cut into strings, I'll crochet them together into a colorful "rag" rug.

Hopefully tomorrow we'll ride somewhere.
