Pleasant Valley

For our first bike ride with friends Brock and Leola we decided to ride north of Yellowstone on a short 104 mile loop up US89 and Montana 540.

Eagle led Spyder on the pleasant 3 hour ride.

The Yellowstone River was our almost constant companion.

We stopped for lunch in Emigrant at the Wildflour Bakery building.  The Bakery and a breakfast cafe is located on the building on the left with a bbq lunch served outdoors under the roofed eating area on the right.

After lunch we picked up 540, also known as East River Road.

We rode past a little hamlet called Pray,

then rode through the beautiful and peaceful Pleasant Valley.

Back on 89 we followed the Yellowstone back toward Gardiner and our rv park,

stopping on the way to view the Devil's Slide.

Next, back through Yellowstone NM.
