On the way to Olympic National Park yesterday we saw several cannabis stores, some very discreet, some not.
In spite of the Controlled Substances Act of 1970, 18 states, including Washington, have legalized the recreational use of cannabis.
Inside the park:
bent but still growing
wildflowers everywhere
three colors of volcanic rock
a couple of deer too habituated to humans
on the right the Blue Glacier and Mount Olympus casting its shadow on the glacier.
