On this sad day of remembrance for many, our family chooses to celebrate our blessings. In Ohio our granddaughter, Maddy, celebrated her 12th birthday. In California, Matt had to work, but the rest of us goofed off.
After pickleball and a nap, Gramps aggravated Mel, much to her delight.
Katie modeled her “fish hat” between dips in the pool and tree climbing.
Jack gave me the play-by-play as he SCORES!
Beth watched football all day, then grilled hot dogs.
As for me, I crocheted, read a book, enjoyed the pleasant weather, and was happy to be in the midst of the everything.
