Gray To Gray

Fog greeted us this morning as we set out on the next part of our journey.  South on CR 7 we went for about 15 miles when suddenly

the fog disappeared!  Sunshine and beautiful scenery followed us all day

as we traded CR 7  for US 33

and crossed the Ohio River

into West Virginia,

where we picked up I 77 for the rest of our trip.

South we went all the way through West Virginia to

and under the Appalachian Mountains

until we turned east on I81.

As we drove east we once again entered gray sky country.  When we stopped at Ft. Chiswell, the sky was totally overcast and the air had turned chilly again.

At least most of the day was beautiful.
