Colors And Curves

A brisk sunny blue sky day made us mount the Eagle for a flight over three mountains on US 16 north from Marion to Tazewell, otherwise known as The Back Of The Dragon.

From the get-go the roads were lined with autumn color.

The map promised "32 miles of excitement! 260 curves! Elevations of up to 3500 feet!" Starting at Hungry Mother State Park, it delivered!

After fast-food lunch in Tazewell, we headed east on CR 61 and 614 then 55--not quite as hilly, but just as curvy and colorful.

Wolf Creek

At Bastion we turned south on I77 for the rest of the trip home.

Beautiful weather, beautiful scenery, beautiful riding.

Beautiful!
