Newest Home Sweet Home

Because we could get only two weeks at our previous rv park, today we moved to Big Pine RV Park for our final week in the SW corner of SD.  This park is as nice as Broken Arrow if you don't mind pine cones and needles between rigs instead of grass.

Behind this nice little water feature is the office/store on the left and the garage/game room/laundry on the right.

Game room.  On the left is a room the same size as this one.  It is the laundry.

Other buildings in the park include the shower house/restroom building,

several nice little cabins, and

two of these--outhouses???  No, they are nice restrooms.  All of the buildings are clean and well-kept.

The park has 37 full hook-up sites, five of which are pull-thrus, 11 w/e rv sites, 11 tent/pop-up w/e sites, and two tent areas.  There are two small playgrounds and two horseshoe pits.

Duane and I walked around looking over the park and enjoying the whimsical artwork,

and the wonderful views.  This is the farthest site  from the road.

As with Broken Arrow, this park is spread up a hill.  Our site is about half-way up.

Views from our back porch.

Our friends Brock and Leola are parked further down the hill and closer to the road.  From the front of our rig we can see them  in the center of this pic between the two close trees just to the right of the tent.

Tomorrow we plan an afternoon ride to another interesting site.

Interested?  We'll see you then.
