No blog yesterday because we were in Whitewright (TX) for one last visit with son Duane Jr, daughter-in-law Brandey, and grandkids Emma, Ava, Alyssa, Coy, and Will. We spent the entire day and evening watching the kids compete in youth rodeo events at an arena in Sulphur Springs in the afternoon and at their church in the evening.
The girls were sure to win while wearing the spur straps Grandpa made for them.
Jr always helps the girls get ready and makes sure they're in place on time.

Coy and Alyssa were led through poles and barrels
and the twins ran poles, barrels and other speed contests,
and competed in goat tying.
All these events had several age groups with lots of kids competing in each event and age group. The twins finished their turns about midnight. We all drove to their house and went to bed.
Hence, no blog on Saturday.
