This week we learned two things we hadn't known after a year of living in the same spot.
On one of our daily walks, we found this thornless rose bush.
Yesterday we were introduced to two neighbors. From our house we can see across the creek to this pond, maybe a couple of hundred feet away. Yesterday we were told that two alligators live there. That bump in the middle left of the pic below is one gator's eyes sticking out just above the water's surface.
Who knew? We didn't! Now we do!
