After my day off yesterday, I was back to work on my t-shirt quilt project today.
I cut 25 pieces of iron-on fabric stiffener (interfacing)
then iron them onto the backs of the cut out t-shirt pieces. The interfacing will keep the fabric from stretching as I sew it together. This process is rather time consuming. First each piece has to perfectly positioned on the the backing, then a damp cloth placed on a section and the iron pressed in each spot for ten seconds or longer.
Did I mention that it's rather tedious?
Tomorrow, on to the next step,
Louise and Duane
