Progress

Laundry and card playing cut into my puzzle time today, but I was able to assemble most of the border and a mystery yellow thingy.

I'm being stubborn about how to work this thing.  I am trying to do the puzzle before I read the story, but I must admit that maybe the story will give me a clue as to what that thingy is.  I'm going to have to break down and read the story, I guess.

Still enjoying the luxury of goof-off time.
