Busy-ness

With no batting on hand, I put my sewing project on hold and delved into my beading project.  My first task was to straighten and reorganize my collection of beads and attendant paraphernalia.  This was an all day task, but I finally finished, and am ready to assemble my Halloween themed bracelet.

All of this

went into this.

The black case contains tools, the box underneath is the current project.  Next to them are the boxes of glass and plastic beads.  (The wood and stone beads were already organized.)  The big box contains wire and string to put the beads on, and on top of that are two boxes of “findings”, or spacers to separate beads and clasps, and other connectors.  FYI—mine is a very small, basic beading collection.

Duane was also busy working on his grandkids’ ornament carving project.  He put his new jigsaw to good use roughing out the basic shape of each one.  Now his real work begins,

but not tomorrow.

That’s when the Eagle flies.
