A Word About…

While perusing a tourist activity pamphlet rack I found a pamphlet entitled Oregon Cannabis Guide & Map.  I quote:  Oregon is home to breathtaking mountain views, craft breweries, vineyards, outdoor recreation and now high-quality legal Cannabis!  Mary Janes and average Joes are coming out of the woodwork as pot enthusiasts.  Ladies night might include a joint, and grandma’s arthritis pain disappears with a side effect of the giggles.  We now have medical marijuana available in 23 states with Oregon, Washington, Alaska and Colorado boasting recreational marijuana for those 21 and older.  The reality is that the world of Cannabis is evolving.  We are proud to join this chapter in history, and that you have picked up our Cannabis resource.  Breath (sic) deep, relax and enjoy your stay in Oregon!”

Store located just down the street from South Jetty TT park.

Whenever anyone outside a store—like the lady below—sees me looking, they smile and wave.  I always get the feeling that they’ve been sampling their wares.

The map inside my pamphlet lists 54 stores in Oregon and 4 in Vancouver, WA.  Hmmm, maybe that’s why there are so many glass blowers in Oregon and Washington.

My increasingly invaluable pamphlets has a FAQ section.  In answer to “How much Cannabis can I buy?” the answer gives amounts for dried flower, edible, and topicals.  Then it says, “Keep in mind that purchase limits are per store, we suggest you do the tourist thing and visit multiple retailers.”   I’m telling you, as I read this that I could just hear the writer giggling.

Aren’t you glad that we sat around all day and had nothing else to write about?

Now do you think we believe you sat around all day doing nothing, when you are surrouneded by all those stores offering you a delightful experience? We went born yesterday. Lol
