Goodbye Lavender Road

We've had a very busy last week here at Trails of Lavender Road RV Park.  Monday we drove 2 hours to Rockwall, TX to shop at the Costco.  We found no beef or pork, but an abundance of poultry, fish and seafood.  We were also able to stock up on our favorite sea salt dark chocolate caramels.  Yum!  About a mile from there was the New Balance shoe store where Duane was able to replace his worn out walking shoes with some nice cushy low top hikers.  Much better.

Tuesday Duane fixed the oven.  I spent the afternoon alternately helping him and staying out of the way. It was a relief to get that done.

Wednesday we went to a sports medicine doctor to get my shoulder evaluated.  An xray was inconclusive.  Hmmm.  (I have an appointment for an MRI next Monday and a follow-up on Wednesday.)

Today I went to my gynecologist  and was informed that all of my parts that he put back in place last year are still where he put them.  Whew!

Tomorrow we leave this rv park and move around the corner to Tyler State Park to get settled into our new home for the next 3 months while we work-camp as campground hosts.  That'll be a new experience.

This morning we took our last walk along the Country NASCAR track.  Yay!

Moving Day tomorrow--all of 5 miles.
