Today's 230 mile drive, mostly along interstates, consisted of blue skies, green trees and straight roads--just the way we like it.
In Florida we drove along the Intracoastal Waterway,
and skirted Jacksonville.
Before we reached our winter quarters south of Orlando, FL, we stopped for 4 days in New Smyrna Beach.
We're here to visit our long-time friends Bob and Dotty who live nearby in Port Orange. (Bob and Duane were both plumbers at Delphi (a GM affiliate) in Dayton, OH.) We started our visit with a trip to our favorite steakhouse--Texas Roadhouse--then rounded out the evening with several games of Euchre, a card game we all learned growing up in Ohio.
