Rain and temperatures falling into the upper 30's this evening prompted us to load the bike this afternoon and to pack away the water hoses.
The warmer afternoon temperature attracted the latest invasion of bugs. When we first arrived we were plagued by stink bugs from Asia. When they finally left us, they were immediately replaced by Asian lady beetles. When we were loading the bike, I was using the broom to discourage them from flying into the house. They retaliated by landing on me and biting me. Throughout the afternoon we amused ourselves by sucking them off the ceiling with the sweeper.
A long drive tomorrow.
