Further North

A 5 hour, 300+ mile drive north on I94/US53 took us from the Wisconsin Dells area through large rolling farms in western Wisconsin

all the way to the southwestern edge of Lake Superior.

Crossing the bridge across the bay

brought us to Duluth, Minnesota.

Our road took us through Duluth to the Hermantown H-D dealership, where we waited for the bike to receive a new back tire.  Alas, the Eagle had flown too far.  Further inspection showed the drive belt was shot.  One had to be ordered, to be delivered in a couple of days.  $$$ Yikes!!!

Sadly we left poor Eagle and drove back to Duluth, past the bridge,

and picked up Scenic Route 61 for 30 miles

to our new home for the next week, Penmarallter Campground in Two Harbors.

Set up and tucked in,

Louise and Duane
