Today we visited Caroline and Carol, pickleball friends who adopt aging small dogs who have physical problems. Ailments include cataracts, tumors, tremors, congestive heart failure, renal failure. In other words, these compassionate ladies run a hospice for old dogs. At present they have 6 patients:
Misty
Charley (with Caroline)
Sadie
Roscoe
Lexi
and Max.
We visited over pizza for lunch, and chatted for another couple of hours after that. an excellent way to spend a misty, chilly afternoon.
