One full day of bright sunshine and clear blue sky is what we needed to raise our outside temp to 33--just enough to turn snow to water, ice to slush, and to unfreeze our tank valves (except the black water).
We opened the doors to the bedroom and the garage and let the warm air and the sun through the windows heat up both of those rooms. Duane was able to comfortably pound leather for a while. We both enjoyed our first showers in a week. At 4pm, the warmest part of the day, Duane decided to see if our luck would hold. He tried to start the truck. It worked! We still have to share the living room for the next couple of evenings, but now we can start using the whole house during the day.
Feels great to be warm again!
Louise and Duane
