Driving

On our 120 mile drive from Quintana Beach to the  Colorado River Thousand Trails park outside Columbus (Texas, that is), we exchanged marshlands for

pastures.

and tilled fields

We crossed the Colorado River south east of the park.

Outside Columbus we found the cars that drowned in Houston.

We arrived without incident at the park and set up in time for lunch.

After a trip to Columbus for groceries, Duane spent the afternoon planning a bike ride for tomorrow.
