Monday when we were driving from Abilene, we decided that we weren't in the desert any more. The wide open spaces were closed in by trees and green grass.
As we skirted around north of Denton we caught a glimpse of the Fort Worth skyline across Lake Lewisville,
then the trees and grass were pushed back away from the road and replaced by new buildings
and lots of road construction.
We finally arrived in Trenton, drove down the family's tree-lined drive
and parked in the yard along the right side of the house.
More fun with kids interspersed with some unpublished stuff from our travels will be coming up this week before we make the rest of our trip back to Tyler.
