Respite

Rain this morning and all afternoon.  Between times we took advantage of a dry spell to take a walk.

View of our park facing east.  To the right is old Rt 66.  Behind and curving behind the trees to the left is a gravel road.  Straight ahead behind the trees Roubidoux Creek which curves around to parallel the gravel road.

Beyond the rapids is the east side of the campground.  Here the creek runs north then east.

I forgot to mention yesterday that our new air-shock hitch seems to be working properly.  It doesn’t take out all of the bouncing caused by uneven or concrete roads, but levels it down to what you get in a car, and stops what is called porpoising—that up and down and back and forth bouncing.

Today we were lucky to get a walk in.  Hopefully tomorrow we’ll fly.
