We arrived here Monday to find that our Kilgore family has previous plans that limit our visiting to today and tomorrow. We made the most of our time today by multitasking. While Duane visited with Jeremy, I helped Luke and Allie with their homework.
Allie in her usual folded position for homework (despite her comfortable desk in her room).
Luke finished with time for a game with Nerf guns before dinner. I had never played this game before, so I used old age and treachery to win.
Not even this could save him!
Jennifer and Jeremy made a great smoky grilled pork chop dinner.
After dinner we told stories,
and played blackjack. (Allie decided to stretch out for the rest of her homework.
Tomorrow, more family stuff.
