On The Edge

A short 60 mile hop down I75 today dropped us south from Sault Ste Marie to St. Ignace, the southernmost town of the Upper Peninsula north of the Straits of Mackinac which connect Lake Michigan and Lake Huron.  St. Ignace and Mackinaw City are connected by 4 miles of I75 across the Mackinac Bridge.

We set up in Tiki RV Park & Campground for the next 5 days. The park is small with 70 rv sites and 21 tent sites.

Out site is one of five at the front entrance. We are the only one facing in.  The front of the truck is just behind the bush on the left.

We managed to snag one of the 30 prime spots:  50 amp, full hookup, pull-thru.
The site looks cramped,

but we have lots of room (where it counts) on the other side of the bushes.

The sunny morning gave way to clouds and rain in the afternoon and evening.
With scattered showers predicted for tomorrow, we may opt to do chores and save our bike ride for Friday.

Flexibility is the order of the day.
