ATLANTIC CITY

Monday was a travel day taking us around New York City. I was not looking forward to that drive. The only problem was the traffic approaching the George Washington Bridge. We were in bumper to bumper stop and go traffic. It took us around an hour to 10 miles. After getting across the bridge it was pretty clear sailing all the way to Chestnut Lake Thousand Trails campground in New Jersey. We were able get get a 50 amp full hook up site. We will be here for 2 weeks while we travel around New Jersey, Delaware and the Philly area of PA.
On the way to the city we had to stop at the Atlantic County Harley Dealership.

Louise liked the door handles

Leaving the Harley shop we headed on to the city.

The sky line approaching the city

Trump's Taj Mahal

We didn't go into the Taj Mahal but from the outside it appeared to be quite a place.

Light house at the end of the street.

There were a lot of people on the beach but there was room for a lot more.

Looking left

This is a nice Korean War Memorial

A look down the Boardwalk

Looks like the pier is back in business after the hurricane wiped it out.

Louise had to get her feet wet. She said the water was pretty cold.

We walked around the boardwalk for a while, had lunch at Johnny Rockets and walked through the Ballies Casino. I kept my money in my pocket. I'm so proud of myself....lol
The weather was rather hot and humid but we had good time walking up and down the boardwalk.
