Autumn in August? No, the fall colors and falling leaves are due to heat stress. The only thing that can save the trees in Tyler State Park is enough rain to replenish the trees' thirsty roots.
Not every tree in the park is showing stress, but quite a few of them in the camping circles could use some help.
