Walking Around

We had a fairly nice day at home today.  Most of the day was partly sunny with patches of blue sky and big white clouds.  Before it got too hot we walked from the rv park to the office so that we could get some exercise.  Duane took the opportunity to ask if he needed a fishing license to fish in the lake.  Since the lake is privately owned, he doesn't need one.  While I made lunch he tried his luck from the rv park access.  He caught a big submerged tree limb and lost his lure.  In the afternoon the usual black clouds started building up.  He took a chance anyway and drove the road on the other side of the pasture from the park (see yesterday's blog) to the boat ramp at the further end of the lake.  Just after he arrived, he was pelted with rain.  He tried a few casts, but didn't like the look of the shoreline and gave it up for lost.  This is not surprising.  He's not much of a shore fisherman, preferring the deck of a boat for casting toward the shore.  No pix tonight.  We're having internet trouble.

We'll try again tomorrow.
