Eagle screamed his defiance at today's predicted storms. We climbed aboard, and with Kenny in the lead, we flew north east across the Mississippi into Iowa.
We blew through Wyoming,
and flew up a hill enjoying the beautiful scenery,
before Eagle was ready to land in Animosa. He was content to rest here for a couple of hours while we chowed fast food and walked around the National Motorcycle Museum.
Inside we marveled at everything motorcycle, from souveniers, photo histories, engines, and the bikes themselves.
The timeline ran from basic bicycles to the various engines such as steam,
and belt driven gasoline,
to more elaborate and efficient gas engines.
and the most modern,
including many famous
and unique bikes.
After our tour we meandered along county roads through towns of various sizes
and miles of rolling farmland
before finally crossing the Mississippi into Illinois again.
With increasing dark clouds overhead, we left Kenny in Colona and glided back to Geneseo Campground where Eagle contentedly hopped onto his perch and went to sleep. We took the truck back to Colona, picked up Kenny and met Lisa at Culvers for supper. (Lisa worked all day and met us on her way home from work.) No one ordered fries because from there we went to Whitey's for locally made hand-dipped ice cream for dessert.

More fun with Kenny and Lisa tomorrow.
