Long Lake RV Resort

The Resort complex consists of  several areas.  The registration office/tv lounge/gift shop and parking lot comes first.  To the left of this building is

this huge deck on Long Lake, which starts behind the office and continues left past the dock and on to the left, giving it its name.

Passing the office the paved road goes through a wooded area then splits right and left.  The right hand fork leads to the rv park itself.  First there are 5 very nice double cabin buildings, with the lake running just beyond the trees.

Across from the cabins is this nice playground/picnic shelter/splash pad.

Continuing the road passes the big picnic pavilion/restrooms/showers (lake behind the trees)

and enters the paved pull-thru rv sites,

until it finally turns around the gravel extra long pull-thru sites.  (All sites are 50 amp full hook-up)

The road uturns and continues along a long pasture to the park entrance.  At the rv park entrance the left fork road parallels the park road across the field.  This road gives a close up view of the bison herd and leads to the end of Long Lake (still behind the trees).

View of cabins and play area from lake access road.

The park is relatively small--40 sites--but well maintained and very quiet.

Unfortunately, during our stay it was very warm, humid, and stormy.

Three days to moving day.
