Next!

This morning I endured my annual mammogram and sonogram with great results--I am free to go for another year.  All we have left to do is to pick up our new glasses and I have to be declared completely healed from my surgery.

Meantime I'm on to my next post-op project:  cutting various colors of course netting (veiling) into strips, connecting the ends, rolling the strips into balls, then crocheting the strips into pot scrubbers.

It's a simple project that takes a bit of time, but I don't mind.  I make them for Christmas presents for family members who appreciate and use handmade gifts.  Duane aids me by holding one end while I cut 1" strips.

Keeping busy while we wait,

Louise and Duane
