Good weather is one thing that we’ve really been anticipating since we arrived in Tyler, TX a week ago. Since then, though, we’ve been subjected to dark gray cloud cover and cold, cold temperatures. Yesterday, after a beautiful sunshiny day and a high in the mid 50’s we figured that we could survive one more 25d. night. We were really looking forward to a sunny day and a (relatively) warm one. Alas, all was not as expected. The temperature did reach the upper 50’s, but the sky was (re)covered in clouds. They were thin in spots and let through some weak rays, but for the most part, the blue was covered once again.
The weather didn’t stop the rv repair guys from coming out. They determined that the coils that we had replaced two years ago are defective. They are going to replace them, but with a more reliable kind. They were able to free the antenna so that it works the way it’s supposed to. They are also going to replace our cracked gray water tank. Now we don’t have to leave our rig in an rv repair bay to be repaired and have to find someplace to live while it’s done. Yay!
Things are starting to heat up..
