This afternoon I finally got around to starting an experiment I've been thinking about. I took a hammer to an old brown jar, a green olive oil jar and a green wine bottle.
It made enough shards to half fill my rock tumbler. I added some fine grit and set it to rolling for the next three days or so to take off the sharp edges.
I am hoping to have some nice pieces to make into a sun catcher.
