On this (weatherwise nasty) Sunday, we consoled ourselves with a visit with our son Jeremy, daughter-in-law Jennifer, and grandkids Allie and Luke. After a leisurely breakfast at Denny's, we adjourned to their house. We drove a mile to the river to inspect what Jeremy has accomplished since our last visit in April 2018.
First there were windows in this side of the shack.
Inside he had added a ceiling and an interior wall.
Behind the wall on the right is the future bathroom,
and on the left is where the bedroom will be.
Outside he had completed his new pond. What last year looked like this
now looks like this.
To the right last year,
and now. Nice job Jeremy!
We returned to the house to warm up by the fire
and catch up on the news.
Luke posed with his first trophy deer antlers. The vension goes into the freezer.
We wiled away a rainy afternoon with snacks and a lively game of Phase 10. For the record, I finished first but Luke won.
Luke entertaining himself as only a 10-year-old boy can.
Always fun to catch up with the family again.
Louise and Duane
