Tyler State Park is located just a few miles from our Lavender Rd rv park.
The park, spread along steep hills surrounding the lake, offers a scenic drive around the lake, with miles of hike/bike trails through the woods.
Camp sites include full-hookup rv sites
tent sites
and cabins,
many with views of the lake.
Duane and I have decided not to travel this summer, but to stay in the Tyler area. We have also decided to seriously consider work camping. Tomorrow we will be talking to someone at Tyler State Park about volunteering there.
Dr. visit went well today.
