Every year we come to the Tyler TX area for our yearly medical checkups. Between appointments we usually play pickleball, visit family, and make plans for our summer travel.
This year we are planning something different--staying put. Today we paid a repeat visit to Tyler State Park. This time we applied to work camp at the park for the summer. After talking to the volunteer coordinator, we went home and filled out applications online, and called our previous employers for references. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, we will move from The Trails @ Lavender Rd. RV Park to Tyler State Park on May 1.
Nice way to spend a rainy day.
