This morning I raised the blind to reveal a completely cracked window. Apparently that little white spot in the upper right started the whole thing, but we have no idea what put it there. Some quick checking revealed no windows in stock in the Cincinnati area. We decided to tape the thing before we move and worry about it later.
Despite the window and intermittent showers, we made good use of our day. Ruth Ann had to work, but Stacy took the day off to be our chauffeur as we did some shopping in the big city.
First stop was the biggest camera shop I ever saw. I couldn't take a picture because I was buying a new camera. (Somebody forgot to bring her camera in from the rain.)
Next stop was an urban market complete with lots of different shops, brightly colored awnings
and several street entertainers.
We came here to visit my favorite tea shop.
They carry lots of varieties of teas from several different countries. I like their black teas. Today I found Golden Monkey, Assam Estate, and Yorkshire Harrogate to add to the Eight At The Fort and Scottish Breakfast teas already in my drawer.
Before leaving my "little girl" had to ride the pony while I kept her from falling off.
We made a stop at a garden store where Stacy and I enjoyed ourselves hunting for a couple of plants for her new house. Last stop was the girls favorite donut shop. We picked out six different pastries to sweeten up our day.
Back at the house we enjoyed the evening with supper of grilled brats and dogs and several games of dominoes.
Tomorrow--party time!
Louise and Duane
