Home Sweet Home

For our week's exploration of Minnesota's North Shore, we are staying at a small privately owned campground just a couple of miles from Two Harbors.  The name is derived from the names of the owners' four children.

This small campground has 24 pull-thrus, 5 full-hookup and 19 with water and 20,30,& 50 amp electric.  All sites are large with 50-70 ft packed gravel parking and nice grassy areas, picnic tables and fire pits.  There is a dump station.  For people staying on 50 amp site owner will come around with a honey wagon and pump your tanks.

The shower house has two small showers and two restrooms each for women and men, and a small shed/storm shelter.

Every year Two Harbors hosts an annual event called Heritage Days.  Some of the festival activities include an arts/crafts show, stage entertainment, street dance and two parades.  On Thursday evening vintage and classic cars/trucks parade through the campground before proceeding to town for display at the festival grounds.
We love the classic vehicles.  Just by looking we could tell the year, manufacturer, and design name of each one.  They still have style!

Still no bike!  😭
