Moving On

Beautiful sunshiny skies accompanied us on our 320 mile drive today on I 10 west across lots of rivers in three states.

We said goodbye to Alabama by retracing our Sunday trip across the scenic Fish River

and the beautiful Mobile Bay, once again past the USS Alabama

and through Mobile.

On we went, right into Mississippi

and halfway through Louisiana

first passing Baton Rouge, the capital and second largest city, 

up onto the big bridge, 

across the Mississippi River.

We drove about 1/2 way across Louisiana before stopping for the weekend.

Nothing much planned.
