All the way across Louisiana and Texas driving conditions have been lousy. We've been hemmed in by heavy traffic, bounced around by uneven pavement--which shows up as white lines in the picture below,
and pelted by rain--from misty mist to downpours.
In spite of these conditions, and a flat tire on the trailer, we managed to arrive relatively unscathed at the Thousand Trails Lake Conroe RV & Camping Resort, our home for the next two weeks. This is our favorite TT park, but if the forecast doesn't clear up, we won't be able to enjoy any of the many outdoor activities that this park has to offer, especially the very nice pickleball courts.
Rain continued off and on all afternoon and evening. Between showers we set up the house, unloaded the bike, and made a trip to town for a few groceries.
Crossing our fingers for some sunshine,
Louise and Duane
