Walking In Cinci 1

New Year's Day found Stacy, Ruth Ann, Duane and me working off our holiday breakfast with a brisk 2 mile walk around the girls' Cincinnati neighborhood.  The air was cold, but walking up and down the hill under blue skies and bright sunshine warmed us in a hurry.

In the afternoon, Ruth Ann took her cold to bed for a nap.  Stacy drove us to the Cincinnati Union Terminal, an intercity train station and museum center.  The terminal is still served by Amtrak's Cardinal line, but the building also houses three museums, a library, the Holocaust & Humanity Center, and an Omnimax theater.

We were there for the show.

Our online tickets allowed us to skip the long line and admire the Winold Reiss industrial murals, a set of 16 mosaic murals depicting Cincinnati industry.

The movie line formed at the head of this hallway, once the railway concourse.

Tomorrow, we do more walking up and down.
