A brisk cool breeze, blue skies, warm sun--perfect weather to take the Eagle out for a flight.
With our two new friends/biker buddies Greg and Marti in tow
we cruised northwest for 50 miles along central Florida's straight flat roads
to access CR 494--the Ozello Trail. This 9 mile road winds us around 67 curvees through tidal marshlands
ending at the Gulf of Mexico.
We stopped in Ozello at Peck's Old Port Cove. This place is known for its seafood, but we were there for the homemade key lime pie. Yum!!!
Pie and getting-to-know-you chat tucked away, we mounted up
and wound our way back home.
An excellent afternoon.
Louise and Duane
